Beko “First News – HarvestFresh” Competition – Terms and Conditions

1. This competition is open to UK residents aged 16 and under excluding employees, and their immediate families of BEKO plc (the “Promoter”), their associated companies, agents and anyone else professionally connected with this competition.
2. No purchase is necessary to participate in this competition. To enter the competition, you will need to design an A4 poster that shows the benefits of HarvestFresh™ technology and eating healthily.
3. To be eligible to win you must submit your poster either by email (from a teacher, parent or legal guardian) as an attachment to [email protected] or by post to Competitions, Beko House, 1 Greenhill Crescent, Watford, WD18 8QU.
4. Entrants are responsible for any associated postage costs. We will not be able to return any entries sent by post.
5. Entrants submitting via email are responsible for ensuring their poster is saved in an appropriate format (Word, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG, PDF, TIFF) and that the file size is less than 4mb to ensure successful delivery to the [email protected]
6. All entries must include the artist’s name, age (must be under 16) and the contact details of their teacher, parent or legal guardian. If the entry is being made via a school, please include the teacher’s name and contact details.
7. No cash or other alternative prize is available and unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the prizes are available only to the winners. Offer is subject to product availability.
8. All entries must be received by the 16^th October 2020.
9. There will be 10 winners who will be contacted via email or phone by Friday 30^th October 2020 and asked to confirm their school’s details.
10. If the selected winner fails to confirm their acceptance of the prize within 2 working days, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and offer to another.
11. The prizes will be sent to the winner’s school as soon as possible after the date of response from the winners though there may be delays for which the Promoter will not be held liable. Delivery will be managed via a third-party courier company.
12. In order for the courier company to successfully deliver the prizes, the winners will need to confirm their school’s delivery address and contact details.
13. The prize is non-transferable, and the Promoter will not be responsible for any inability of any entrant to take up the specified prize.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed or not received for any reason.
15. Should the prize become unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a substitute, similar prize of approximately equivalent or greater value.
16. Any additional cost will not be covered by the Promoter.
17. Entrants’ data submitted through email and postal entries will be used only to contact winners and will not be held for any longer than 60 days after the closing date of this competition. We will not share any data with third parties, other than school details to allow the third party courier to fulfil delivery of the prizes.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or change the details of the competition and/or review and revise these terms and conditions without notice and by continuing to take part in the competition subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
19. The decision of the Promoter on any aspect of the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
21. This competition and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English law.

Data Protection

The information provided in this competition will be used by the Promoter and any of its affiliated companies for the purposes of administering the Competition unless you have indicated otherwise.

Other than as set out in these Terms and Conditions or for the purposes of operating the Competition, the details and information provided by the Participant when entering the Competition will not be used for any competitional purpose, nor shall they be passed to any third party.
