Ovens that clean themselves with Pyrolytic Self-cleaning Technology

We understand how frustrating it is to spend hours scrubbing your oven clean. That’s why we developed the pyrolytic ovens in our built-in range to clean themselves at a touch of a button. All you have to do is set the oven to its pyrolytic self-cleaning programme, and it will heat up to a hot 480°C turning grease to dust. Then, you’ll only need to use a damp cloth to wipe the inside of your oven clean.

What is Pyrolytic Self-cleaning technology?

Available in some of our built-in multi-function ovens, our pyrolytic self-cleaning technology is a helpful and time-saving solution that makes cleaning your oven a breeze. When it’s time to give your oven a deeper clean, you’ll be able to easily set the pyrolytic self-cleaning function at the touch a button. This technology gives you the option of two programmes depending on how dirty your oven might be. If it’s been a while since the last time you cleaned your oven, or if you’ve been cooking greasy food lately, the 120-minute programme would be best. Or, you can select the 90-minute programme for a simple routine clean-up. Either programme will heat your oven up to 480°C turning grease to dust, so the only cleaning you’ll need to do is wipe the dust away with a damp cloth.

How is an oven with Pyrolytic Self-cleaning different to one without it?

Our range of built-in ovens offers a host of easy cleaning solutions to help you save time every day. An oven with pyrolytic self-cleaning technology is the ultimate in easy cleaning and time-saving solutions because the only cleaning you’ll need to do is wipe the dust away after the programme has finished. Ovens without pyrolytic self-cleaning will require a bit of extra cleaning from you, but not as much as an oven without any type of easy cleaning solution. Luckily all the ovens in the Beko range come with some sort of easy cleaning solution, like an oven lining that can catch grease and grime, or an inner door glass that stays cleaner for longer.

Why would I want an oven with Pyrolytic Self-cleaning?

Here are the top three benefits of an oven with pyrolytic self-cleaning technology:

  • Save time – An oven that cleans itself means you won’t have to spend hours scrubbing it clean.
  • Save energy – The 90-minute programme is ideal for a simple routine oven cleaning and uses less energy than the full programme.
  • Easy-to-use – You’ll be able to set the self-cleaning programme at the touch of a button.
