Why won't my kettle boil?

If you find your kettle has stopped working, this could be due to a few different reasons. Firstly, the boil dry protection feature prevents damage to the kettle which means that if the kettle is empty and it is switched on by mistake, the kettle would heat up briefly and then cut off. The other checks you can try and do before contacting our customer support line, are with the fuse and socket. Try replacing the fuse and check the socket is working by trying another appliance to make sure power is going through.
