How to Set your Animated LED Display

If you have recently purchased a Beko built-in oven and aren’t quite sure how to set its animated LED display, we’ve prepared this handy how-to guide to help you. This guide will show you how to set the time and the minute minder, to help you keep track of your food as it cooks. And, we’ll show you how to set the cooking time, as well as the time delay, to help you set your food to cook at a time that’s convenient for you and your busy family home.


Setting the Time

If you’re using your oven for the first time, you’ll need to set the time on its animated LED display. Watch the video above to see how to set the time on your oven. Or, follow these quick and easy steps to find out how to do this:

  1. Press the up or down key button until the correct time is shown on the display
  2. Confirm the setting by pressing the timer button which looks like a clock and wait for 4 seconds without pressing any other button

Setting the Minute Minder

Did you know that you can use your oven’s minute minder to help you time your cooked and baked foods perfectly? This is a handy addition to your oven which can help to stop you from under-cooking or over-cooking your food. Watch the video above to see how to set your oven’s minute minder. Or, follow these quick and easy steps to find out how to do this:

  1. Press the timer button until you see a bell symbol on the display
  2. Set the alarm duration by using the up and down arrow keys
  3. As the time counts down, you’ll see the bell symbol on the display
  4. Once the time has reached its end, you’ll hear the buzzer, and the bell symbol will flash
  5. To stop the buzzer, press the timer button

Setting the Cooking Time

Another handy feature that comes with your oven’s animated LED display is being able to set a cooking time for a duration you choose, so that your oven turns off once the timer has finished. This is such a great help for when you have a lot of things to do around your house, and don’t want to worry about your food over-cooking. Watch the video above to see how to set the cooking time for your food. Or, follow these quick and easy steps to find out how to do this:

  1. Select the cooking function and temperature for your food
  2. Press the timer button to confirm 
  3. Place your dish in the oven and press the ‘play’ button
  4. The oven will then heat up to the set temperature and will stay at this temperature until the end of the cooking duration
  5. Once the timer has counted down, you’ll hear the alarm, the word ‘End’ will appear on the display, and the oven will switch off
  6. To stop the alarm, press any key

Setting the Timer Delay

Perfect for your busy everyday life, the timer delay on your oven can be used to set your oven to start cooking your food at a later point in time. This is great for when you’ve prepared something sweet or savoury in advance, but don’t need it cooked or baked until later. Watch the video above to see how to set the timer delay on your oven. Or, follow these quick and easy steps to find out how to do this:

  1. Follow the steps above for ‘Setting the Cooking Time’
  2. Press the timer button until a second arrow symbol appears on the display next to the cooking time symbol
  3. Use the up and down arrow keys to select the time that you would like your food to finish cooking at
  4. Press the timer key to confirm
  5. The arrow symbols will appear continuously on the display 
  6. Place your dish in the oven and press the ‘play’ button
  7. The oven will start cooking your food so that it ends at your set finish time
  8. The oven will then heat up to the set temperature and will stay at this temperature until the end of the cooking duration
  9. Once the timer has counted down, the word ‘End’ will appear on the display and you’ll hear the alarm
  10. To stop the alarm, press any key
