How to Set your LED Display

Have you recently purchased a Beko built-in oven or cooker and aren’t quite sure how to set its LED display? We’ve prepared this handy how-to guide to help you set it properly. This guide will show you how to set the time and minute minder to help you keep track of your food as it cooks. And, we’ll show you how to set the cooking time, as well as the time delay, to help you set your food to cook at a time that’s convenient for you and your busy family home.


Setting the Time

If you’re using your oven for the first time, you’ll need to set the time on its LED display. This is simple to do. Watch the video above to see how to set your oven’s time. Or, follow these quick and easy steps to find out how to do this:

  1. Press the plus or minus button until the correct time is shown on the display
  2. Confirm the setting by pressing the adjustment button on the top left for 4 seconds without pressing any other button

Setting and Using the Minute Minder

Did you know you can use your oven’s minute minder to help you time your cooked and baked foods perfectly? This is a handy addition to your oven which can help you avoid under-cooking or over-cooking your food. Watch the video above to see how to set your oven’s minute minder. Or, follow these quick and easy steps to find out how to do this:

  1. Press the time button that looks like a clock, until you see a bell symbol on the display
  2. Set the timer duration by using the plus and minus keys
  3. As the time counts down, you’ll see the bell symbol on the display
  4. Once the time reaches its end, you’ll hear the alarm, and the bell symbol will flash
  5. To stop the alarm, press the timer button

Setting the Cooking Time

Another handy feature that comes with your oven’s LED display is being able to set a cooking time for a duration you choose, so that your oven turns off once the timer has finished. This is such a great help for when you have a lot of things to do around your house, and don’t want to worry about your food over-cooking.   1. Select the cooking function and temperature for your food
  2. Press the timer button until the cooking time symbol appears on the bottom left of the display
  3. Use the plus and minus keys to set the cooking duration
  4. Press the timer key to confirm and set the timer
  5. Once the timer has counted down, the oven will switch off

Setting the Timer Delay

Perfect for your busy everyday life, the timer delay on your oven can be used to set your oven to start cooking your food at a later point in time. This is great for when you’ve prepared something sweet or savoury in advance but don’t need it cooked or baked until later. Watch the video above to see how to set your oven’s timer delay. Or, follow these quick and easy steps to find out how to do this:

  1. Follow the steps above for ‘Setting the Cooking Time’
  2. Press the timer button until a second arrow symbol appears on the display next to the cooking time symbol
  3. Use the plus and minus keys to select the time that you would like your food to finish cooking at
  4. Press the clock key to confirm
  5. Two separate arrow symbols and the time slice symbol will be shown on the LED display
  6. The oven will start cooking your food so that it ends at your set finish time
  7. Once the timer has counted down, the word ‘End’ will appear on the display and you’ll hear the alarm
  8. To stop the alarm, press any button
