Solid hotplates should always be allowed to cool before cleaning. Using a small amount of domestic non-scratch cleaning cream, wipe around the hotplate following its circular grooved pattern. Once all residues are removed, rinse with clean water. Make sure you dry the hotplates thoroughly to prevent rusting. Whilst not essential, applying a thin layer of cooking oil regularly will help keep your hotplates looking great.
