If you have just installed your new Beko washing machine, there are a couple of things you need to do to ensure the machine works properly. First, remove the transportation bolts before using the machine. These bolts keep the drum stable during transportation and stops possible damage to the appliance. If possible, keep the bolts in case the appliance needs to be moved again. Pull out the transportation Styrofoam from under the appliance. There will be a strip of tape coming under the front of the appliance. Pull this to free the Styrofoam which can then be disposed of. Please remember you will need the help of another person as the appliance is heavy and to remove the polystyrene block, the appliance needs to be tilted to 45 degrees. Your manual will have pictures showing how this should be done, if you cannot find your manual, please click here. to download a copy
