My oven’s not working, what do I do?

My oven is broken

If your oven is not working or has stopped working, it is important to locate and rectify the issue as soon as possible. There are several reasons why your oven may not be working. To help you rectify this issue, we have pulled together the top reasons why your oven may not be working. Product does not operate

  • The mains fuse is defective or has tripped. To rectify this issue please check your fuse box. If necessary, replace or reset them.
  • Product is not plugged into the grounded socket. If this is a possibility, please check the plug connection.
  • If the buttons/knobs/keys on the control panel are not functioning it may be that the keylock is disabled. Please consult your appliance instruction manual to rectify this issue.   • Your oven fan may be broken. For more information, please read our dedicated FAQ that explains the common reasons why your oven fan is not working.

Oven light does not work

  • If your oven light is not working, it may be that the lamp is defective. Please replace your oven lamp. For more detailed information and instructions, please read our FAQ that explains how to replace the light in your Beko oven.
  • It may be that the power is cut in your home. First, check if there is power and check the fuses in the fuse box. If necessary, replace or reset them.

Oven does not heat

  • Your oven may not be set to the correct cooking function and/or temperature. Ensure your oven is set to the correct function and temperature.
  • In models equipped with a timer, the timer may not be adjusted. To rectify this, adjust the time accordingly following the instructions in your appliance manual.
  • In models equipped with a Minute Minder (mechanical timer) ensure that the dial is set to manual mode. This is usually a “hand” or “infinity” symbol.
  • Again, check that there is power in your home and reset the fuses if necessary.
