BEKO SPINS BACK ONTO SCREENS WITH LATEST TV AD CAMPAIGN

Leading appliance manufacturer Beko is returning to television screens this spring with a primetime national advertising campaign featuring its stylish 9kg ‘Excellence’ washing machine. Featuring a weekend spot appearance in ITV1’s popular Dancing on Ice on Sunday 18th March, this latest campaign consists of a 30 second ad that will air throughout March until 15th April.

This latest TV activity follows a successful campaign from the brand that originally launched during X Factor in autumn 2011, running for two months. Feedback on the first stage activity was extremely positive with consumers responding well to the overall concept and the use of the ‘baby Billy’ character, as well as the straight-talking approach to explaining the large capacity and time saving features, and how they can genuinely make life easier for the busy modern family.

Beko are now the number one washing machine brand in the UK  with one in every five households having a Beko washing machine.


The TV ad, features a mother and her baby, Billy. As mum is seen using her washing machine, the voiceover by actress Caroline Quentin, highlights the features of the large 9kg washing machine, 39 minute quick wash cycle and stylish extra large chrome porthole door for easy loading that are beneficial to a busy family.
